Hello, I'm Sir Nuttingham. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Nigel Farage have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Sir Nuttingham (talk) 15:30, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Ulster Defence Regiment. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Sir Nuttingham (talk) 15:31, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
- It is your own roll-backs that support falsities being published on this platform. The UDR were a civil defence regiment - not a 'terrorist regiment'.
- There is no evidence other than opinions on one side of the political/religious spectrum stating that they are terrorists. BauhausDisco (talk) 15:35, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Nigel Farage, you may be blocked from editing. Cicada1010 (talk) 17:59, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
- It is public domain knowledge that Mr Farage is a homosexual. I was mistaken in stating that he was openly gay. I am very surprised that long-time editors are displaying this level of homophobia. We should be proud of our LGBT politicians regardless of their political beliefs. BauhausDisco (talk) 18:05, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
- Are there any reliable sources that say that he is in fact a homosexual? Koubaki (talk) 18:27, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
- Are there any reliable sources that say the UDR is a 'terrorist regiment'? It seems like there's a double standard where the far right is embellished on Wikipedia. This is just one of the reasons why Wikipedia is shunned in academia. BauhausDisco (talk) 18:29, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
- I'm not talking about the UDR. I'm talking about Nigel Farage. If you think your edit is constructive, please list one or more reliable sources agreeing with your statement. I'd also recommend learning about how Wikipedia works. Reliable sources publish pages that Wikipedia cites in articles. You can use this logic to understand if your edits are constructive. Koubaki (talk) 18:36, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
- I understand how Wikipedia works, I have edited and researched articles extensively. It is knowledge in the public domain that Nigel Farage is a homosexual and we should embrace that, to go against it would be homophobic. BauhausDisco (talk) 18:38, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
- If you do understand Wikipedia, you should list one or more reliable sources. Just because you think something is common knowledge doesn't mean Wikipedia should list it. Koubaki (talk) 18:39, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
- Article descriptions do not necessitate sources. We all know that he is a politician and broadcaster, and do not feel the need to include a footnote. BauhausDisco (talk) 18:41, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
