Abadi articles
I know that one translation of Abadi is "village", but the Iranian census and Iranian authorities use it to refer to a much wider range of rural localities including shops, farms, pumps, factories (etc.). Please, therefore, when creating an article about such a location find sourcing conclusively stating that it is actually a village, and not merely in a list of locations that includes farms and so-forth.
The above deletions are a result of the locations not being confirmed as actual villages, and not simply rural localities. FOARP (talk) 08:13, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Brightkingdom- Please do not create any more Abadi articles. Particular the Markaz-e Tahqiqat va Tulid-e Sukhat-e Esfahan article (literally "Isfahan Fuel Research and Production Centre"), which you described as a "village", makes it look like you are creating these articles without even checking what or where they are. At the very least continuing to create articles without even confirming whether the subject is what you say it is could see you lose your WP:AUTOPATROLLED permission.
- Whilst in some cases these exist as articles on FA wiki, FA wiki has different standards for what is sufficiently notable to have an article to English Wikipedia. You cannot simply copy articles from one Wiki onto another without checking - and if you do copy an article from one Wiki onto another, you need to give proper attribution to the original authors. - None of my articles have been copied from any other Wiki...but that is entirely beside the point you are making. I have written my last article after seeing the results of my efforts, and I can not but agree with you.
- My bad.
- I will stick to revising pages already in existence. I genuinely thought I was improving the encyclopedia by filling in perceived gaps, but I was mistaken.
- I will let the articles submitted for deletion expire. If it saves time and effort on administrators' parts, I will db author all I find that are obviously unsuitable. It will take some time, but it is my time and not yours.

It is simply not verifiable that this is a village, which leaves it being what the name declares it to be: a cattle farming complex. I suspect it is part of an agricultural college or institute of some kind. Fails WP:NORG.
