The Bear / infobox

Hi, Gann5966. I've once again removed the FX dates from the infobox because they are mentioned later in the article. In the infobox without context, it will appear that the series' "original release" on Hulu ends today and that FX will have new episodes until August, which is not the case. -- Wikipedical (talk) 01:52, 26 June 2026 (UTC)

i need to elaborate. yes, the episodes that are going to air on fx in the coming weeks are not new episodes since the whole season was already released on hulu at the same exact time the first two episodes have aired, but unlike previous seasons it (including the "gary" special) was advertised and reported by trade outlets as a simultaneous release, not the fact that it's a hulu exclusive only (like the first four seasons), or a hulu exclusive that just so happens to air on fx as an encore showing/second window months (or even years) after its original release (ala season 1), or a show that aired on fx first and then on hulu the next day. like i said, the episodes that are gonna air on fx in the coming weeks are not new but i do feel like the release strategy of this season needed to be represented/mentioned in the infobox, especially after the variety article about fx's recent shift in their release strategy. sorry if i come off condescending or rude in this. You don't sound condescending or rude, and I understand what you're saying. But advocating for the infobox to say "Hulu June 2022–June 2026" and "FX June 2026–August 2026" in practice actually adds unnecessary confusion to most readers who don't have you to elaborately explain the context. As I mentioned in my edit summary, that really makes it seem like the series continued airing on FX after it wrapped up on Hulu (as the network2 fields most often indicate). It's much simpler to list the original streaming dates and mention the FX re-airings in the body of the article. -- Wikipedical (talk) 16:01, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
