Casa Navarro State Historic Site

The article Casa Navarro State Historic Site is a redirect created by you to Casa Navarro. As Casa Navarro State Historic Site is the official name of the site I would like to move both of those and make Casa Navarro the redirect. Thanks for checking with me. I know nothing of the topic beyond a cursory web search. Some general points of relevance:

• Wikipedia goes by WP:COMMONNAME, not WP:OFFICIALNAME.
• The 19th-century house and the current tourist attraction are separate concepts, though of course so closely intertwined they can best be described in a single article. The house is usually "Casa Navarro". The tourist attraction is sometimes "Casa Navarro State Historic Site" and sometimes "Casa Navarro" and sometimes "Casa Navarro Historic Site". The attraction's instagram account uses the short form in many posts, and on its headed notepaper the "State Historic Site" is written below "Casa Navarro" in much smaller type, more akin to a descriptor than an equal part of the title.
• Perhaps, despite what my cursory web search suggested, it is in fact the case that (a) the tourist attraction is much more noted than the house divorced from that context; and (b) the attraction's official name is significantly more common than shorter versions. If you are confident that both (a) and (b) are true then by all means be WP:BOLD and move it. Otherwise I suggest taking it to WP:RM. jnestorius^(talk) 08:31, 26 May 2026 (UTC)
