Request WP:TAIV?
It's really helpful with LLM patrol and sock-related stuff (which overlap a lot). If you do, make sure to read WP:TAIVDISCLOSE. Thanks for finding and cleaning up that case NicheSports (talk) 05:36, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
LLM Attacks
Hi there, just letting you know that you’re not the only one who is getting scolded over supposed and/or literal LLM usage by JMWt, as I am as well. Although I have told this user that I swear I don’t use LLMs and that I do speak French at a moderate level.
But the citations are apparently the problem for this guy. He even wrote an essay about this. I just think that’s a little funny but a little harsh on many users on here who actually can speak a certain language at a certain level. So yeah, just thought I’d let you know that you’re not the only one here. Hope you understand. Enjoy your weekend.
Sincerely,
Mathura–Dholpur section moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Mathura–Dholpur section. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it has no sources. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 05:52, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
Contract attorney
I think that your edit was throwing out the baby with the bathwater. I'd like to add back in a short summary. Bearian (talk) 16:22, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
- Feel free to do so! My editing philosophy leans heavily on WP:BRD so I am never offended if someone reverts or partially reverses one of my edits. In this specific case, it was a long time ago, so I can't remember my exact rationale, but on looking at it again I suspect I saw that the section had been tagged for a long time and smelled like promotional puffery of the author being quoted, and I was unable to establish whether Barbara Ehrenreich was a significant enough voice in this subject area to merit that level of inclusion, so I opted to boldly remove the section under the assumption that if it really was important someone could still find it in the history and restore it. -- LWG talk (VOPOV) 16:44, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
Following me around, harassing, misrepresenting edits
So, it looks like you did this:
1) Followed me from Jesus to Israelites (I see no record of you editing the article or Talk of Israelites)
2) Reverted my revert of a disputed new edit, with an obviously inappropriate source (the Bible)
3) Misrepresented my revert of the new edit as my making a change to the article
4) Misrepresented the discussion in Talk as opposing my view--it is the other editor who changed the article prior to resolution of Talk discussion
5) Made no contribution to Talk yourself. Mevsherd (talk) 22:17, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
- Hi, I didn't follow you from Jesus, I found out about the dispute on Israelites when you posted to RSN asking for advice (I have RSN watchlisted so I see all posts there). As for your other points, I'll take a second look at the article later when I have time in case I misunderstood the situation. I'm out to dinner now and can't look into it right now. -- LWG talk (VOPOV) 22:41, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
Mention at ANI
Head’s up: you were mentioned over at ANI in the “Mikewem, and other behavior…” topic. I think you’re the only mentioned editor who wasn’t pinged. Jtrevor99 (talk) 03:28, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
LLM
Hi, Thank you very much for your message. What exactly should I do? If this is how things are, I would prefer not to continue participating. My activity will not continue. Still, if there is anything I need to do, please let me know. Thank you Balash-Vologases (talk) 17:14, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
- Hi,
- If you plan to step away from Wikipedia for a while there isn't really anything you need to do. If you decide to try to continue editing, you should apologize for any confusion or problems, promise not to use LLMs at all going forward, and maybe start contributing using smaller edits and making sure to use edit summaries and talk pages to explain what you are doing and why, and saying what sources you found your information in, so you can rebuild confidence in your editing. -- LWG talk (VOPOV) 21:06, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
... , and maybe start contributing using smaller edits ...
- This cannot be overstated. Make smaller edits that show your work, don't just plunk in giant edits that don't explain how you have made your edits. This happens when people ask an LLM to generate edits for them and paste it in, because there is no work to be shown. When people edit themselves, they save often and frequently, both to be able to backtrack themselves and check their own work for mistakes and also because that is just a natural impulse. No reasonable person sits down and writes half an article without saving their progress. ‑‑gurkubondinn 11:15, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
- Some people prefer to write offline and paste in a finished product, rather than showing their errors along the way, so it's incorrect to say "no reasonable person". SarekOfVulcan (talk) 14:09, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
- They would still save their work, they'd just save it locally.
- Of course we can't see that, but any reasonable person would still save their work as they are working on it. ‑‑gurkubondinn 15:28, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
