- Hi, thanks for your message.
- I’ve tried to create my articles by doing extensive research and using reliable sources, but despite the time and effort I invested, one of the users has proposed deleting the article.
- What are you suggesting?
- many thanks Sarebaan (talk) 07:35, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, I suggest you get involved at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sayyed Mohsen Fatemi (2nd nomination). However, just researching and using reliable sources for your article isn't enough. You also need to make sure the subject is WP:NOTABLE, and the academics the guideline in particular is WP:NPROF. Glancing at Sayyed Mohsen Fatemi myself, it doesn't look like they are notable. They are only an associate professor, which are rarely notable, and looks more run-of-the-mill (WP:MILL). I'd suggest finding someone else to write about to the honest. -Kj cheetham (talk) 10:21, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
Deletion discussion about Sayyed Mohsen Fatemi
Hello Sarebaan, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Sayyed Mohsen Fatemi, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sayyed Mohsen Fatemi (2nd nomination).
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

- Hi Klbrain, thanks for the message.
- Could you please advise me on what I can do to prevent the article from being deleted?
- This is my first article on the English Wikipedia. Initially, I wanted to translate the Farsi version, which was created 12 years ago, but it was too weak.
- Thanks. Sarebaan (talk) 01:00, 3 February 2025 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Sayyed Mohsen Fatemi when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.

Sayyed Mohsen Fatemi moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Sayyed Mohsen Fatemi. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and it consists of machine-generated text. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. MediaKyle (talk) 11:59, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
