Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Sabbath stew. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 02:48, 23 August 2023 (UTC)

I understand. Thanks for the tip! I didn't know about the talk page. Pretty new to editing, and will use that in the future. Sheepish Lord of Chaos (talk) 06:14, 23 August 2023 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Gondi (food), but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. addition of content not in cited sources Waxworker (talk) 14:35, 8 June 2026 (UTC)

Somebody else wrote that gondi is also called ghondi, but their sources aren't reliable themselves. Gondi is written with a gaf, as noted in the article itself, a letter which is never ever represented with a gh. I don't believe I need to link an article to change incorrect information that somebody else put, do I? Like, somebody wrote an article with wrong information. I have to find an article that points out that previous articles have wrong information?
Somebody else wrote "similar to their Ashkenazi Jewish counterpart matzo balls", and they had no source at all for this statement (which is a false statement, these dishes are not the same and are not used in the same context, just kind of look similar). I simply changed this to say that they are unrelated to matzo balls, but I'd gladly just remove the sentence if you think that's more appropriate.
Somebody else wrote that gondi is a popular dish among the Mountain Jewish population, and gave two citations. The first citation does not mention Mountain Jews in the article, and the second citation links to an article that no longer exists. Again, I would happily remove the incorrect sentence, but I'm not sure what source I should be linking here--"I asked my local Mountain Jewish mother and culinary expert and she said 'of course we don't eat gondi, that's a misattribution'"?
Somebody else wrote "It's also an alternative to matzo balls for Passover", but this is misquoting the article, and I changed it to reflect that. For my addition that most Persian Jews traditionally don't eat chickpeas on Passover, I can provide a link.
The Wikipedia article as it exists is full of false information, and I'm just trying to fix that. Please reply so I know how to proceed. Sheepish Lord of Chaos (talk) 16:15, 9 June 2026 (UTC)
