Speedy deletion nomination of Sultan Abdul sultan/sandbox

Hello Sultan Abdul sultan,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Sultan Abdul sultan/sandbox for deletion, because it seems to be a test. Did you know that the Wikipedia Sandbox is available for testing out edits?

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Copy-and-paste move

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Government Degree College No. 02 Mardan a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into User:Sultan Abdul sultan/sandbox. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Thank you so much for helping me, please help me more in understanding the subject. Sultan Abdul sultan (talk) 18:04, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

Actually I wrote first this in draft by the name Government Degree College No. 02 Mardan and then moved it in sandbox by copying the text from draft. And this is all my own work and never intended to copy and paste... Thanks Sultan Abdul sultan (talk) 18:07, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

Help me

I wrote an article in Draft and then I moved it in the sandbox but later I wasof informed that it was tagged for speedy deletion. It was appeared to them either a copy paste work or sandbox test. So please help me out. I assert they neither it is intended for sandbox test not a copy paste work. Need your guidance and suggestion and it will be appreciated. Sultan Abdul sultan (talk) 18:16, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

Government Degree College No.02 Mardan moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Government Degree College No.02 Mardan, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Onel5969 TT me 16:16, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

Please Remove all sources that seem primary and do make the article move back. I will add more reliable sources to the article. Sultan Abdul sultan (talk) 06:57, 16 April 2021 (UTC)

May 2026

Stop icon You appear to be engaged in an edit warat Orwell and I. An edit war occurs when editors who disagree about the content of a page repeatedly revert each other's changes. Please do not revert or undo the edits made by other editors when your changes are reverted. Instead, use the talk page to discuss how the page can represent consensus among the editors involved. Here is some advice on how to do this. If discussions get stuck, you can request a third opinion, ask for help at a relevant noticeboard, or seek dispute resolution.

Edit warring can result in being blocked from editing, especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts within 24 hours on one page. Undoing any other editor's work, in whole or in part, involving the same or different material, is a revert. You can still be blocked for edit warring even if you do not violate the three-revert rule should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
This is the only warning. Edit warring against consensus is a short cut to being blocked. Spartaz Humbug! 23:50, 29 May 2026 (UTC)

Really, I am not trying to revert any editing that an editor has made. It was just an attempt to uphold the page as separate page because both pages represent different opinions. An another reason of doing so was not knowing enough more about how to contest it properly and by mistaken it was reverted. Still, I am worried that beginner readers of the topic will face ambiguity. Since this essay has now been included in the curriculum of many South Asian Universities as a major essay for studying English literature, it needs to be clearer for them. And thank you for your cooperating. Sultan Abdul sultan (talk) 02:10, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
I'm a little confused why you've revisited the topic of articles needing to be written for a specific audience, when Andy has already explained to you that this isn't really a concern for Wikipedia.
Universities are responsible for teaching their students, Wikipedia is not. The whole point of a university is to teach - if their students need to come to Wikipedia to fill in gaps in their knowledge, then the university has no business calling itself a university.
The bottom line is that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that anyone can read. We don't prioritise articles because the subject is taught at university, they are all treated equally according to our policies and guidelines. Blue-Sonnet In solidarity 02:55, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
There was a community consensus. I was a hair away from blocking you so I'd reflect on ways to avoid getting into that place again rather than defending your disruption. Spartaz Humbug! 07:45, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
Do you consider that the community consensus is fine here. Just acknowledge the matter. If still you consider me then I will not mind it. Hope so, you well get what I mean. My defence is on the fact to not complicate both pages. It's simple. And nothing is wrong if look it positively. Sultan Abdul sultan (talk) 08:27, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
Wikipedia runs entirely by consensus - no single person or administrator can override that because that's not how Wikipedia works. If a consensus forms, then it must be carried out. The only exception would be if a policy or guideline said something different, but it's important to understand that almost all policies and guidelines were also created by the same discussion and consensus process as everything else here.
This is a website that's created and run by the community, nobody is in overall charge. Wikipedia does what the majority of editors decide to do. Blue-Sonnet In solidarity 20:56, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
