- With the most highest respect to you Cmajorftw you are just bringing claim after claim which I have been able to prove you wrong, now you accuse me of conflict of interest, no I don't have any connection to the figure am just a person from Chester County who keeps reading about this person and felt as he is an elected official should have page.
- It seems your a just bringing false claim after claim and if we cant sort this out, I would have to report this for a dispute.
- I hope you can reconsider and I don't have to take this to the dispute board. TheEditorPA1776 (talk) 17:24, 4 April 2026 (UTC)

- To improve the existing article, please edit it directly at Juan Tafolla. If the article is protected and you cannot edit it, propose your changes on the article's talk page.
- If you are writing about a different subject with the same name, ask the reviewer to rename your draft to distinguish it.
Two copies of this page have been created, in draft space and in article space. It is not necessary to create two copies of the same page, and it annoys the reviewers.
If the article either is ready for the encyclopedia or appears to be ready for the encyclopedia, the draft will be redirected to the article. However, the article could have been moved into article space instead.
If the article does not appear to be ready for the encyclopedia, the article may be nominated for deletion, and the draft will be kept.
You did intend to create two copies. I am at this time leaving the article alone. This does not mean that I will edit or review it later, and it does not mean that I will not edit or review it later.Next steps

Request reason:
Insert your reason to be unblocked here TheEditorPA1776 (talk) 17:01, 11 April 2026 (UTC) I believe that my banned was unjust, there is not self promoting or conflict on interest here especially on the article, I have been trying to publish, It has truly pushed me away from never using Wikipedia especially as a new editor. All I have been trying to prove is that the article I wrote about does have nobility to it. I was giving the option by one of your editors to publish my article to the main space which I did and look at the Tea house community which I still have to send my article to, But haven't had time to be fully active to it. The same person who denied my article from draft followed me to the main space and nominated for deletion, I went to the dispute board and was given those two option to have different editors judge my article not the same person to come hunt my article down and mark it, All i wanted was to hear different opinion from different editors about my article, not have it be hunted down from a person who has put there own self interest into this space which shale remain natural. All I was trying to do is to defend my position and article not get bullied accusing me of using AI and banning my account. This is truly no the way of Wikipedia you are suppose to work with me hear my arguments on why my article should be approved not to accuse me and basically harassment from an editor.
Accept reason:
Per the discussion below, TEP1776 is subject to a topic ban on Juan Tafolla, broadly construed with the sole exception of one edit request about a photo. Star Mississippi 19:05, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- TheEditorPA1776 (talk) 17:01, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- If you want an unblock to be successful, please read WP:NOTTHEM. You have done nothing but edit about Tafolla and ignore the advice you've been given by your fellow editors. This request is more of the same. Star Mississippi 17:12, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- I have read the NOTTHEM, and I will follow those guide and take it to the dispute board, once I get unbanned. I did follow my fellow editors suggestion especially those of Robert from the Dispute board, I published my Article on mainspace hoping to get feedback from other editors, If I get unbanned I'll send it straight to the Teahouse and see what other editors say. TheEditorPA1776 (talk) 17:27, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- I think you have misunderstood the advice you were given. Your draft was declined multiple times and yet you published it to main space regardless, so the next step was for it to be taken to WP:AFD that was the "feedback from other editors". You were told to get advice from The Teahouse but you didn't, had you done so you would have been advised NOT to publish directly to main spaceTheroadislong (talk) 17:52, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- If that is the case that I miss understood the advice, then it's my fault. I will publish it directly to Tea House for edits. but for the record Star Mississippi, I have gone to the article, I have written and seems some editors have started to edit my article, Which was the whole point of it being published on the mainspace. I am ready to leave that article alone and let Teahouse do its work. This whole situation has been stressful and am ready for it to go straight to Teahouse. TheEditorPA1776 (talk) 17:55, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- for the record it was declined one, the second time I asked for it to be declined. TheEditorPA1776 (talk) 17:56, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- You continue to misunderstand @TheEditorPA1776
- The Teahouse volunteers aren't necessarily going to edit the article. If it is retained - in mainspace or draft - they may choose to. Let the AfD come to consensus on what should happen with the article.
- I'm not going to action this unblock obviously, but I think a topic ban will probably be needed until @TheEditorPA1776 understands notability and Wikipedia. You're not going to be unblocked to edit about Tafolla. Star Mississippi 17:59, 11 April 2026 (UTC)

- Seconding @Theroadislong here, @TheEditorPA1776
- There is no guarantee that there will be an article or a draft on Tafolla - which isn't your article, regardless - if and when you are unblocked. AfD is the outcome of a contested draft and the community will decide whether he merits an article. You could and arguably should have gone to the Teahouse vs. debating the declines with the varied editors. One thing you will need to learn is that your opinion does not outweight consensus, which is how we operate here. Star Mississippi 17:57, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- So its my understanding that I will not be allowed to edit this article at all. and the fait of the article is under the community. I think the best action is to let an other experienced editor make an article about Tafolla. I would hate to have this persons name stained or banned from having an article due to this who situation.
- I am ok with preventing me from editing the article, But I do not want to prevent Tafolla from having or maintaining an article in Wikipedia down the line.
- After this I am removing myself from Wikipedia, I am truly disappointed in this whole situation. TheEditorPA1776 (talk) 18:12, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- Correct, the community will decide whether Tafolla is notable. That's something that can change later, so it does not mean that if deleted he will never have an article. It's also possible you will be unblocked without any restrictions, although I don't think that's likely.
- While you're not Tafolla, WP:PROUD is still worth reading. You're clearly passionate about his work but that doesn't translate well to editing on wiki about a subject especially as a new editor. Star Mississippi 18:18, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- I appreciate the comment, I hope that the community can see that there was never any bad intention or conflict of interest, I just wanted to write about a historical moment in PA, where am from. I hope there is consensus to allowing the article to stay.
- Question who will determine if I get unblocked?
- and when will there be a final determination of the article TheEditorPA1776 (talk) 18:23, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- Any admin patrolling Category:Requests for unblock will see your request. If you are willing not to edit about Tafolla at all (no article, no deletion discussion, no asking editors about the article outside of this discussion here) I'd be willing to unblock you now. This would be a WP:Topic Ban which you could then appeal at some point in the future.
- The AfD will be closed within a week or two. The soonest is seven days, but if the person reviewing feels that consensus isn't clear, the discussion may be relisted. That is normal practice as we all want to be sure we come to the correct conclusion. Star Mississippi 18:34, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- Sure, I am willing to do that, Just one thing there was an image I wanted to add the article, Would I be allowed to do this and then receive the Topic Ban? TheEditorPA1776 (talk) 18:48, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- I'm going to unblock with the topic ban and allow one single edit request for someone to add the photo. If the person says no, please don't argue with them about it. Thank you for your engagement here @TheEditorPA1776 Star Mississippi 19:04, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- sounds good TheEditorPA1776 (talk) 19:05, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- How would I do this or can you do this for me?
- the picture I want to add is the non elected official picture outside as seen on here https://www.juantafolla.com/media/pictures TheEditorPA1776 (talk) 19:06, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- Wonderful. The topic ban is logged here. There is no evidence that photo is released with a compatible license, unfortunately (this has nothing to do with your topic ban). Should the article be retained, I am willing to ask on WP:MCQ on your behalf about this. If it's not retained, I don't believe we can use the photo in draft space per WP:Fair Use policies, specifically Wikipedia:NFCCP #9 so let's table this until we see how the AfD turns out.
- ETA never mind, thanks @Theroadislong for the further context on how this might be possible. Can you help them on this? I'm fine with it from a TB perspective, I just don't do images often enough. Star Mississippi 19:14, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- sounds good TheEditorPA1776 (talk) 19:05, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- If you hold the copyright to the photograph (ie. you took it) then you can upload it to https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page Theroadislong (talk) 19:07, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you both, I have gotten permission from the copyright holder to use the picture with the only condition of giving them credit for it once's it goes live which I selected the box for that TheEditorPA1776 (talk) 19:15, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- As you are the uploader it is you that will be credited, he will need to email commons with permission himself. Theroadislong (talk) 19:41, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- I did look into that I've sent them the permission email thing for them to fill out for Commons. TheEditorPA1776 (talk) 19:43, 11 April 2026 (UTC)

Welcome!

Welcome!
Hello, TheEditorPA1776, and welcome to Wikipedia! I have noticed that you are fairly new! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. I also see that some of your recent edits show an interest in the use of images and/or photos on Wikipedia.
Did you know that ...
- ...Wikipedia has a very stringent image use policy?
- ...most images from Flickr, online news websites, and other web sources are copyrighted?
- ...Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously?
- ...freely-licensed images should be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, a central location for images where they can be used on all Wikipedia projects?
- ...we recommend that new users use our "files for upload" process – at least until you get the hang of things?
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{Help me}} on your talk page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

You seem to be trying to test the limits of what you are allowed to do, and the fact that you haven't been community banned is only because you have been rescued from yourself twice, first by User:Star Mississippi by unblocking with a topic ban, and second by User:The Bushranger by the immediate closure of your inappropriate post. You aren't doing yourself any good, and you aren't doing Mr. Tafolla any good, by continuing to argue about whether he is entitled to an article. Testing the limits of what you are allowed to do in the English Wikipedia is very seldom useful. If you are associated with Mr. Tafolla, you need to declare your association, but you are still topic-banned. If you are not associated with Mr. Tafolla, you should be aware that editors who focus obsessively on one person or company are thought by the Wikipedia community to be associated with that person or company. Hello, I noticed that you have recently created an alternative account, The Last Cartographer 16, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's alternative account policy. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here? I'd appreciate learning your reasons for creating an additional account. Thank you. Star Mississippi 14:03, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
