Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue on the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing!

This draft appears to be generated by a large language model (such as ChatGPT). You should not use LLMs to write articles from scratch.

LLM-generated pages with the below issues may be deleted without notice.

These tools are prone to specific issues that violate our policies:

  • hallucinations: they often invent false information and cite non-existent references.
  • unencyclopedic tone: they tend to be vague, promotional, or essay-like, rather than neutral and factual.
  • copyright issues: they may closely paraphrase existing text, leading to copyright violations.

Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject.

See the advice page on large language models for more information.

Next steps

  • Edit Draft:Umesh Pant to address the points above, making sure to publish any changes.
  • When you are ready to resubmit your draft for review, click the Resubmit button.
  • If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it may be deleted.

Feedback
The reviewer, LEvalyn, left the following feedback:
This draft's references do not show that the person meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion for people. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage: discuss the person in detail, not brief mentions or interviews lacking independent analysis;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the person, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.
This draft is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Wikipedia's verifiability policy requires that all content be supported by reliable sources.
  • Reliable sources include: reputable newspapers, magazines, academic journals, and books from respected publishers.
  • Unacceptable sources include: personal blogs, social media, predatory publishers, most tabloids, and websites where anyone can contribute.
Replace any unreliable sources with high-quality sources. If you cannot find a reliable source for the material, it should be removed.
Typically, an author meets our criteria to have an article by having 2+ books with 2+ published, independent reviews each. The review of Door Durgam Durust in The Book Review looks good, but we need a second one like that to show that the book meets our book criteria, and then one of his other books also needs two reviews cited. Be careful to avoid interviews, book cover reviews, release events, etc, as only in-depth independent analysis of the book itself will "count". Additionally, all information in a biography of a living person must be cited, so all currently-uncited material either needs to have a source added or be removed.

Hi, thanks for the clarification.
There are additional independent reviews of the author’s books in established Hindi publications such as Dainik Jagran, Amar Ujala, and Outlook Hindi. These include substantive book-focused reviews, though many are from print editions without online links.
As per Wikipedia guidelines, I can add them with full citation details and provide scans if needed. I’ll also ensure only qualifying reviews are included and address any uncited material.
Please let me know if this approach works.
Thank you. UttarakhandWriterFan (talk) 05:34, 23 March 2026 (UTC)
There's no need/way to provide scans, but if you add a citation with the full info about the print publication, that is OK. You'll have to do it as a "manual" citation; there's a little info on how to do so here. Sources in any language are fine. When you think the article is ready, resubmit the draft and another editor will take a look. ~ le 🌸 valyn (talk) 06:14, 23 March 2026 (UTC)
