Removing featured lists in Wikipedia This page is for the review and improvement of featured lists that may no longer meet the featured list criteria. FLs should be kept at current standards, regardless of when they were promoted. Any objections raised in the review must be actionable. The FLC director, Giants2008, or his delegates, PresN and Hey man im josh, determine the exact timing of the process for each nomination. Nominations will last at least 14 days, and longer where changes are ongoing and it seems useful to continue the process. For a nomination to be kept, consensus must be reached that it still meets the criteria. Consensus is built among reviewers and nominators; the delegates determine whether there is consensus. A nomination will be removed from the list, archived and added to Former featured lists if, in the judgment of the director who considers a nomination and its reviews:
Nominations may be closed earlier than the allotted two weeks if, in the judgment of the FLRC delegate, the list in the nomination:
Do not nominate lists that have recently been promoted (such complaints should have been brought up during the candidacy period as featured list candidates) or lists that have recently survived a removal attempt – such nominations are likely to be removed summarily. A bot will update the list talk page after the list has been kept or the nomination has been archived; the delay in bot processing can range from minutes to several days, and the |

List of tallest buildings in Albuquerque
- Notified: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Skyscrapers
Unfortunately this list was nominated almost 20 years ago and the standards have significantly shifted. Here are a few issues:
- Lead is short and doesn't accurately summarize the list.
- Citations tags include: contain dead links, and failed verifications, and contain user generated content (I believe this refers to one of the references used not being appropriate, and has been there for 7 years)
- The "notes" section is sparse and underdeveloped. Consider Grade I listed buildings in Oxford for how the notes for buildings should be. If there is nothing notable about the building, then it shouldn't be on this list, as wikipedia is not a directory.
- History section should be updated and expanded (when it says some buildings are not downtown, where are they?)
- Outdated wording "this list is..."
- None of the images have alt-texts and fail accessibility.
- Page could really use a map
- The one note, is just repeated in the notes section.

- I'd expect at least something in the empty notes, plus the citations need to be updated/fixed. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 00:55, 20 June 2026 (UTC)
- Delist unless someone undertakes an improvement. Bgsu98 (Talk) 17:00, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
List of Naruto characters
I am nominating this for featured list removal because 3 weeks ago I made a talk page post and pinged numerous editors active there in the past, where I outlined the problems: "After List of Boruto characters was merged here, this gained a lot of unreferenced content (ex. section on Moegi Kazamatsuri; there are others). My second concern is that even entries on notable characters (ex. Hinata) contain just plot summary and info on voice actors, there is no reception / analysis (which some of the articles on individual characters have, some are even GA like aforementioned Hinata).". Since then, User:BinaryBrainBug also observed that at "Approximately 24,000 words, that's too large". In ter of WP:FLCR, the issuses are 3a (comprehensivness) and 3b (poor referencing). To my concern on comprehensivness, I'll add that the list has cherry-picked random information for various characters and is not very up to date. For example, the newest (Boruto) arc antagonist is Jūra, yet his entry is very short; while for example some less relevant characters (ex. Ao) have much longer plot summaries. This is a minor issue, but the main is the lower quality content when it comes to the merged Boruto entries and lack of summary of reception/analysis for many characters. For example, Boruto character Sumire section is just an unreferenced plot summary, despite sources like or existing. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:45, 14 June 2026 (UTC)
- Could indeed be better summarized and referenced. Shouldn't be hard to get back in featured list territory. Not my research area. Let's wait for other opinions. Selbstporträt (talk) 00:13, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
List of Meerkat Manor meerkats
- Notified: Wikipedia:WikiProject Television, Wikipedia:WikiProject Lists, Wikipedia:WikiProject South Africa
I am nominating this for featured list removal because it contains significant unreferenced content (Wikipedia:Featured list criteria: 3b). I have noted the problems few days ago on the talk page, to no replies from anyone (the principal editors of this list are inactive). Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:08, 26 May 2026 (UTC)
- All of that unsourced content makes this an inappropriate FL. Delist. Bgsu98 (Talk) 13:48, 31 May 2026 (UTC)
- Unfortunately delist per nom. -- ZooBlazer 16:53, 31 May 2026 (UTC)
- Delist for the same reasons as above. Page looks mostly abandoned as well so I don't see any work getting done to get this to FL quality (of which there's a lot!) happening soon. RandomEditsForWhenIRemember (talk) 10:08, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
List of mammals of Korea
- Notified: Example user, Example WikiProject
I am nominating this for featured list removal because
- It probably needs updating. some of the sources were last accessed in 2006. Some of the IUCN assessments probably need updating, and some of the taxonomy has probably been changed too by now.
- Images lack alt text
- Several CS1 errors
- at least one unsourced statement
