Perth meetups are organised by WikiClubWest, the Western Australian branch of Wikimedia Australia. Feel free to come along if you're in Perth, we're friendly!

About

In the early years, 2007–2013 meetings were sporadic. From the end of 2013, Perth meetups were held regularly, with occasional cancellations and gaps between meetings.

By 2015 meetings were more regular, until disrupted in 2020 by the COVID-19 pandemic. Regular meetups resumed as of July 2022. Most (but not all) Perth meetups are held at around lunch time on a Sunday, when public transport is free. Venues vary.

In 2026, our meetups are being held monthly, as in 2016–2019.

The main purpose of Perth meetups is to promote offline interaction between Wikimedians and let them know what is going on in the world of Wikimedia. The meetups are very informal, with no agenda, minutes, etc. Anyone interested in Wikimedia activities is welcome to attend Perth meetups, including Wikimedians who do not live in or around Perth, or even Australia.
