This encourages article creation and helps prevent circular links on the page for the genus. Hatnote. I was the nominator of the article to AfD and I these redirects are synonymous with the country of Palestine. This is proven by organizations which do not formally recognize Palestine, such as certain branches of the UN, the EU, and other organizations referring to Palestine as the Palestinian territories or Occupied Palestinian territories. Finding a reliable source which uses Occupied Palestinian territories to refer to the occupation of Palestine would be quite difficult. Even though the clear primary topic for Occupied Palestinian territories is Palestine, it may be confused with Occupation of Palestine so a hat note is enough.
