This is a collection of discussions on the deletion and merging of articles related to Tamil Nadu. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.

Adding a new AfD discussion

Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:

Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Tamil Nadu|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.

There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.

Removing a closed AfD discussion

Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.

Other types of discussions

You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Tamil Nadu. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.

Tagged for poor sourcing for over 12 years. Extensively COI edited by Commseva (talk · contribs). Sourced to the organisation's own website, and to a newsletter which does not mention the organisation ~ fails WP:ORG. BEFORE searches are mostly uses of the name pre-dating the organisation, and companies fulfilling their CSR obligations by donating to the organisation, not coverage of the organisation itself. Weak Keep. I can see how WP:NACTOR is fulfilled through the notability of the productions Sid has participated in. Even if we question the reviews provided by sources like TOI, they undoubtedly verify the fact that Sid was a participant in each of these shows. I understand the argument that these sources may not meet the standard for WP:BLP, hence my 'weak', but I am also partial to the argument that these may be the only kind of media coverage that actors from minority backgrounds receive, and without definitive proof that such articles are unreliable in this specific case it may be a disservice to delete the article and thereby reduce minority presence on Wikipedia. This article has had a history of being promotional and lacking sources since it was created in 2013, and it has not really been significantly changed in terms of content or sources since that year. Most of the sources currently in the article are just links to blog-like sites listing various poems he wrote, and I do not see anything providing significant coverage. Searching Google for his name (combined with terms such as writer, author, and poet in separate searches to distinguish him) just brought up mostly lists of poems and books he has written, along with links to where you can purchase the latter. I also tried searching his name in Tamil using the same variations, but the few sources that appeared were more links to poems and links to purchase books.
