The DCWC is back!

Hey WikiProject Sri Lanka, the Developing Countries WikiContest is back for a third year, and sign-ups are now open! The contest will run from 1 July to 30 September, and the objective remains the same: improve as many articles relating to developing countries as you can to help fight systemic bias on Wikipedia.

New essay, possibly project-relevant

WP:ENGBIAS - new opinion essay claiming there's systemic bias on WP against some varieties of English (eg Sri Lankan English) - leading to lack of supporting content (templates, redirects, so on) for these. Includes advice on countering said bias. Possibly project-relevant given recent TfDs of templates for Sri Lankan English. Thoughts/criticisms fs welcome :) - Asdfjrjjj (talk) 21:12, 28 June 2026 (UTC)
