The 2025–26 Sheffield Shield season was the 124th season of the Australian interstate domestic first-class cricket competition. Cricket Australia revealed the season fixtures in July of 2025.[1] The season started on 4 October 2025, and the final was played from 26 to 30 March 2026.[2][3][4] South Australia won the title, defeating Victoria by 56 runs and securing back-to-back titles for the first time in their history.
