For a review that went above and beyond.

The Reviewer Barnstar
For your thorough and genuinely helpful review of Printing press at GAN. The copyedits, the Further reading fix and the McLuhan correction went well beyond the minimum, and the article is better for it. Thank you. Metalicat (talk) 22:31, 31 May 2026 (UTC)

If you don't mind

Hi A.Cython, I trust you're well. I currently have Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Ewuare/archive1 and wish you could do a source review or anything you want with it. Thank you! Vanderwaalforces (talk) 14:41, 19 June 2026 (UTC)

@Vanderwaalforces: No promises but I will try to do a source review in the following days or next week.
If you fancy and have time, I also have a FAC nomination, which would benefit from a review from a seasoned reviewer.A.Cython(talk) 16:21, 19 June 2026 (UTC)

Bastille Day set

Hi! I sincerely appreciate your DYK contributions. Do you have any articles you may be working on that somehow relate to France that could be featured in a set for Bastille Day? The oldest subject I plan to work on so far goes back to only the 18th century. Best, Thriley (talk) 03:55, 21 June 2026 (UTC)

@Thriley: Well the closest that I have is the Battle of the Volturnus (554), when a large Frankish army invaded and pillaged Italy during the Gothic War. The article just got assessed for B-class, and I intent to improve it further for GA in the following days. But even if this is relevant (not sure how the French view the Franks or even interesting enough), it will take some time to get it there. Let me know your thoughts. A.Cython(talk) 04:06, 21 June 2026 (UTC)
Activities of Franks outside the borders of modern France is probably not Bastille Day worthy. If you make any quick start class articles you think might work, please let me know. Again, thank you for your contributions! Thriley (talk) 03:42, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
@Thriley: FYI I overhauled Theudebert I (early Frankish king) and I am planning to bring it to GA status in the following weeks (through the GARC) and then to DYK nomination. Currently submitted for B-class at WPMH. It will be a close call to get it through a GA review on time, but doable if we are a bit lucky with a responsive reviewer. I have been working on the Gothic War the last few months and he was in the ToDo list but not a priority until you wrote. Let me know your thoughts. A.Cython(talk) 03:20, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
Wonderful work. The set now has five biographies, which is the limit for a set. I look forward to seeing the article on the front page, it just won't make this set unfortunately. Thank you for letting me know. Thriley (talk) 04:02, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
@Thriley: That's good to know, it will be also a stretch to get it to GA in time so it is better this way. Next year 😄 A.Cython(talk) 04:05, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
