Stella Peace moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Stella Peace. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. CoconutOctopus talk 20:11, 26 May 2026 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm Gurkubondinn. An edit that you recently made to Pseudocereal seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is not allowed on Wikipedia, and may contain factually inaccurate statements, fictitious citations, or other problems. You should instead read reliable sources and then summarize those in your own words. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or ask your questions at the Teahouse, a friendly place for new users. Thanks. --gurkubondinn 19:35, 28 May 2026 (UTC)

Thank you so much, Ben, for your work. I absolutely understand your concern so let's fix the problem together. Regarding pseudocereals - there was an issue of structuring the widely used pseudocereals and it needed a better grouping (as well as inclusion of specific crops like watleseed, which was not present in previous version).
That's why in my suggested edition I added more clear structure as well as more details on pseudocereals with global food potential.
Ben, in your opinion, shall I use specific draft mode for adding the details in the future?
My goal is to bring additional knowledge because I really like the topics, where I contribute and I want to have less red "undefined" topics in biology, food and agriculture (with some bits of other linked topics).
Thanks a lot for your help 🙏 Mary.Kuzmenko (talk) 00:18, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
Please read the WP:NOLLM guideline, it is not permissible to use AI on English Wikipedia. I'm worried that you will get blocked if you continue doing this. --gurkubondinn 09:50, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
Thank you so much for your advice, Ben. I absolutely understand the requirements of no LLM and will follow it.
So, there is a need to add at least watleseed to the list of pseudocereals. It is not listed neither in category (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Pseudocereals), on on page Pseudocereal (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudocereal).
How can I add this, if all my editions are removed? Ben, can I confirm a schedule of adding posts so you or your colleagues double check that it's not LLM generated so we'll enrich Wikipedia with this important knowledge in plant science? Mary.Kuzmenko (talk) 13:55, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
The page Pseudocereal is in the category Category:Pseudocereals already, so there is no need to do anything. It is the first entry in the category, before the "A" section. --gurkubondinn 14:03, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
Ben, thank you for explaining but in my previous message I meant a specific type of crop called "Watleseed".
However, then I discovred that correct spelling in English is with double "t" so it's Wattleseed and it exist on Wikipedia. The only problem was missing link to pseudocereals, so I added the reference to the research paper (Rao & Poonia 2023) and added Category "Pseudocereals" in the list of categories.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wattleseed
So I hope, the problem with pseudocereals is fixed.
===
I would like to come back to Squash editing, which was reverted too.
In fact, I had a discussion with other editor before publishing the reference to winter squash and summer squash in better way. As of now general reference to Squash plant is not proper one (link to Cucurbita genus has to be distinguished and more details given), moreover, Wikipedia has already have two pages for Squash (fruit):
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_squash
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summer_squash
Is it possible to revert the reverted changes? Or if not, I can add them back as a new contribution. Thank you in advance for your support, Ben. Mary.Kuzmenko (talk) 20:32, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
Okay, I see what you are saying. I'll check what the sources say, and add it to the category if they support this categorisation.
No, it is not possible to reinstate your changes. They were generated by an AI, which the WP:NOLLM guideline prohibits. If you want to sit down and write your own Wikipedia contributions yourself, then you are more than welcome to. In fact, you are hereby encouraged to. But you may not use any AI tools for them. --gurkubondinn 10:32, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
Unfortunately, none of the sources referenced in the article support adding the Category:Pseudocereals category. If I missed something, please point it out to me.
But, and please take this as the friendly advice that it is meant at, by far the most productive solution here is if you commit to stop using AI and contribute to the project. But that means no AI-generated text, in ANY shape or form, anywhere. --gurkubondinn 10:44, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
Hi Ben, thank you for your comment.
Let's go to the reference, which I've added:
They (Wattleseed varieties - MK) have also been described in food science literature as a pseudocereal, meaning a non-grass seed consumed similarly to a cereal.[1]
The research paper (https://link.springer.com/article/10.1186/s43014-023-00154-z) is in open access and one of the pseudocereals, listed among category "Others" (after "Recognised Pseudocereal" is Wattleseed.
Ben, so what was specifically wrong with listing Wattleseed as pseudocereal if there is a scientific proof?
In your opinion, do we need other scientific reference? Mary.Kuzmenko (talk) 11:14, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
If one reference is not enough - I can add this as well. The abstract clearly declares that wattleseed belongs to pseudocereal: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2772753X21000010 Mary.Kuzmenko (talk) 13:43, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
Do not add anything unless you write it yourself. I had to draftity almost 30 AI-generated articles from you just a few days ago, and you have not given any assurances that you will stop pasting AI-generated text into Wikipedia or that you understand the problem. I am worried that you will be blocked if you continue like this, and you are wasting the time of other people that have to clean up after you. --gurkubondinn 13:45, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
Ben, which type of assurance do you want to get from me that since you have draftified 30+ articles (28 May) I am NOT using LLMs anymore, specifically, for improving existing articles and adding important extra details.
I do not want to draft any new articles as well until I will fix all the articles you have draftified because there is some knowledge in each of the articles.
I can remove everything and draft from scratch.
For example, you draftify "Leaf necrosis" - it's a huge topic, which was not properly explained in Wikipedia earlier (just a para in "Necrosis" but it's important as a part of plant pathology studies). I can re-draft this article from 0, but it must be in Wikipedia.
Please, explain which type of assurance is required from me?
PS: I am here NOT to waste anyone's time, but help other people to make a picture of plant science & agriculture less fragmented and more linked within existing array of knowledge. Mary.Kuzmenko (talk) 14:21, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
For starters, it would be nice if you would acknowledge that you didn't write the articles that I draftified. Then I would like you to acknowledging having read and understood WP:NOLLM and promising that you will follow it going forward. Please also understand that this will mean that if you are found to be using AI on Wikipedia later, this conversation will lead to you being sanctioned. But if you don't use AI again, you will be fine. This is not a threat, I am just trying to explain the potential consequences to you. You need to write with your own words if you want to contribute to this project, same as everyone else. --gurkubondinn 15:50, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
Dear Ben, thank you so much for explaining what do you mean by assurance.
If I need to confirm that I used LLMs while drafting the articles, which you've draftified - yes, I used one of the AI assistants to help me in structuring knowledge.
-
1. I would like to confirm, understanding that this chat is public and anyone can read it, including any type of authorities on Wikipedia and beyond.
-
2. I absolutely understand that this is a reason for potential sanctions if in the future I will use LLM assistance to generate or rewrite article content.
-
3. I also want to publicly confirm that I've read the WP:NOLLM policy.
-
4. Being threelingual person, I also read Wikipedia:LLM-assisted translation. I believe this might bring value as well. However, as of now I see a huge array of knowledge within biology and agricultural domain which can be connected and interlinked only in English.
-
5. My goal here and everywhere was and is spreading knowledge and making biology and agriculture as a full picture, with less gaps.
-
As I previously mentioned, I do not plan to add any new articles for the next few months.
My focus will be now on minor editing and re-writing those articles, which were initially drafted using LLM. They still carry knowledge, important for the public domain so if I made them (even initially using not the right way), I feel responsible to make those articles alive and helpful to other people.
Thank you for your guidance and support, Ben.
Sincerely,
Mary Believerinplants (talk) 14:44, 31 May 2026 (UTC)

Hi Ben, thank you so much for your work.
My main goal is to support the structurization of knowledge in specific domain. When I was looking for necrotic leaf area damage and discovered that page "Leaf necrosis" page does not exist, I created it.
In your opinion, which type of details may improve the page about "Leaf necrosis"?
I will be truly grateful to get an advice from you so my next discoveries/editions/creations will follow the rules and enrich the people's knowledge in specific domain (I work with biology, plant science, agriculture, and since I live in the UK now, I also write on agricultural policy & education in UK). Thank you in advance for your response. Mary.Kuzmenko (talk) 23:43, 28 May 2026 (UTC)

Hi Liz, I have a question to you - if in scientific literature there is wider use of "fungal family" or "fungi families" - shall we have this page as the redirect to existing "fungus families"?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Fungus_families
It's absolutely clear but NOT as widely used as fungal families in practical context:

This draft appears to contain text generated by a large language model (such as ChatGPT). You cannot use LLMs to generate article content.

LLM-generated pages with certain obvious signs of being machine generated may be deleted without notice.

These tools are prone to specific issues that violate our policies:

  • hallucinations: they often invent false information and cite non-existent references.
  • unencyclopedic tone: they tend to be vague, promotional, or essay-like, rather than neutral and factual.
  • copyright issues: they may closely paraphrase existing text, leading to copyright violations.

Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject.
