Hello, Jayashree68!
Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! See you there! Bobby Cohn (talk) 15:22, 9 April 2025 (UTC) |
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to List of Indian women artists. Wikipedia is not a collection of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links may include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Catalyzzt (talk) 13:59, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks! Jayashree68 (talk) 14:02, 11 April 2025 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Bobby Cohn (talk) 15:22, 9 April 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Bobby Cohn. An edit that you recently made seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications can be unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and output must be carefully checked. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Bobby Cohn (talk) 02:11, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Theroadislong. I noticed that you made a comment on the page User talk:Theroadislong that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 15:39, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on User talk:Theroadislong. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Theroadislong (talk) 16:04, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- I think i shall revert later on with a revised draft. Jayashree68 (talk) 16:22, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
Hello, Jayashree68. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template), including links or details of reliable sources that support your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Bobby Cohn (talk) 02:12, 10 April 2025 (UTC)

Your draft about your daughter
You are editing at two locations, here User:Jayashree68/sandbox and also here Draft:Sanjna Srikanth please only edit one to avoid confusion. Theroadislong (talk) 16:01, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
- Ok, that what i was completely confused yday, thought it hadn't saved the edits. Thanks for clarifying! Jayashree68 (talk) 04:47, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- I'll copy the text from sandbox to the drafts page now. Jayashree68 (talk) 04:50, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- As far as references, have shared all the ones I can including links...don't know what else to do. If you could be more specific, am ready to share more. Jayashree68 (talk) 05:33, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- She's a young artist, so all these are huge achievements, so can't compare to established artists. I went through other wiki pages also for reference material.
- Uniqueness is what I at least admire about Wiki, and so on that basis this should qualify. Jayashree68 (talk) 06:02, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- "Uniqueness" is irrelevant here, she needs to pass the criteria at WP:NARTIST and she clearly doesn't yet sorry. Theroadislong (talk) 06:46, 11 April 2025 (UTC)

You've asked for help, please accept the advice you are given
You've come to two different editors talk pages asking for help or advice and it's been given to you:
- Demonstrate that the subject passes Wikipedia:Notability, likely through achieving the criteria at WP:NARTIST but also WP:ANYBIO or the WP:GNG. You may alsor read WP:THREE on the matter.
- Source the information using WP:Inline citations. An easy guide is at Help:Referencing for beginners.
Instead, you insist on removing helpful edits by others and instead applying erroneous bold formatting. That will not help in getting a draft article published. You should be focused on addressing the two items I've listed above. Myself and another editor have provided this advice and the same links numerous times. It would benefit you greatly to read them.
You also insist on using promotional phrasing such as available through the Book Worm shop, Bangalore and on Amazon after it's already been once removed. Please stop this. This is wholly inappropriate for an encyclopedia.
Resubmitting variations of the same thing will obviously not work in getting either of the two versions of the draft article accepted. The template says Please note that if the issues are not fixed, the draft will be declined again right beside the button that you click that says Resubmit. I don't know why you won't accept the advice given to you that you've sought out. We editors are trying to help you and we are only volunteers, we are happy to have an article on this subject so long as it addresses the two points I've laid out above. I do hope you accept them. Bobby Cohn (talk) 14:23, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- I have listened to all the advice given and applied them in the latest draft. Anyway, i'll go for some other professional help and try resubmitting the article.
- Please if you are doing voluntary review, it's great. But, no excuse for rude and negative comments though. You don't like personal attacks, we don't like it either. Works both ways. Jayashree68 (talk) 14:28, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- Also, i didn't change editors, it was done automatically. just fyi. Jayashree68 (talk) 14:30, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- Good luck. Just be aware that editors who have paid for professional help in the past have been scammed. You can read the warning here: Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Scam warning. All the best, Bobby Cohn (talk) 14:45, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
