Reliable sources
I have cleaned up a number of your edits and outright removed them as they were improperly sourced. Please thoroughly read our policy on WP:RELIABLESOURCES and before continuing to edit, please explain how this edit you made to a 2004 film, which presumably was barely in production 2 years prior, can be sourced to a 2002 Journal publication? This makes me question many of your other edits and whether the content in the source actually supports the claim you're citing it for. PRAXIDICAE💕 16:27, 18 May 2022 (UTC)

{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. Primefac (talk) 13:35, 19 May 2022 (UTC)Proposed deletion of Mbaise dialect

The article Mbaise dialect has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No references. Not enough information to establish notability.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Women in Red
Hi there, Akwugo, and welcome to Women in Red. I see you have been really active on the IG wiki where you have created lots of women's biographies, many translated from English. I see from your registration that you intend to translate even more into Igbo but it would be great if you could also create some biographies of African women on the English Wikipedia. If so, you should find it useful to read through our Ten Simple Rules. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 09:50, 16 June 2022 (UTC)

Hi, I've been fixing your recent submissions as they were not correctly submitted (such as Draft:Gladwell Jesire Cheruiyot just now). Please use {{subst:submit|Akwugo}} to submit and not just add {{subst:AfC submission}} as that then has no timestamp or submitting user parameters. Or you could use {{subst:AfC draft|Akwugo}} when starting a draft and that will show a submit button that I believe helps add other templates that categories the draft with additional templates when ready to submit. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Nigerian Library Association Chapters in Nigeria

A tag has been placed on Category:Nigerian Library Association Chapters in Nigeria indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read! Mirrors
Thanks for contributing to the article Awka. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Innovation Support Network

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Innovation Support Network requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.digitalafrica.com.ng/innovation-support-network-isn-hubs-berths-to-support-entrepreneurship/ and https://articles.connectnigeria.com/apply-for-the-first-innovation-support-network-isn-annual-gathering-for-tech-stakeholders-in-nigeria/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ––FormalDude (talk) 10:16, 5 September 2023 (UTC)

Conflict of interest warning
I found it odd that you'd be in contact with the copyright owner of the source in question, so here's the conflict of interest spiel:
Hello, Akwugo. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);

Speedy deletion nomination of Godwin Ubaka Okeke

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Godwin Ubaka Okeke requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://anambrapeople.com.ng/2022/07/25/godwin-ubaka-okeke-guo-transport-founder-net-worth-biography-cars/, https://www.absradiotv.com/2019/06/20/biography-of-chief-dr-sir-godwin-ubaka-okeke/, and https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/06/how-civil-war-brought-me-into-transportation-g-u-okeke/.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. scope_creepTalk 09:38, 5 May 2025 (UTC)
Copyright problem: Godwin Ubaka Okeke
Hello Akwugo! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Godwin Ubaka Okeke, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted material from other websites or printed works. This article appears to contain work copied from https://anambrapeople.com.ng/2022/07/25/godwin-ubaka-okeke-guo-transport-founder-net-worth-biography-cars/ https://www.absradiotv.com/2019/06/20/biography-of-chief-dr-sir-godwin-ubaka-okeke/ https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/06/how-civil-war-brought-me-into-transportation-g-u-okeke/, and therefore to constitute a violation of Wikipedia's copyright policies. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. While we appreciate your contributions, copying content from other websites is unlawful and against Wikipedia's copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators are likely to lose their editing privileges.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under license allowed by Wikipedia, then you should do one of the following:
- Have the author release the text under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 License (CC BY-SA 4.0) by leaving a message explaining the details at Talk:Godwin Ubaka Okeke and send an email with confirmation of permission to "permissions-en
wikimedia.org". Make sure they quote the exact page name, Godwin Ubaka Okeke, in their email. See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions. - If you hold the copyright to the work: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en
wikimedia.org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 License and GNU Free Documentation License, and note that you have done so on Talk:Godwin Ubaka Okeke. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for instructions. - If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted "under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License (CC BY-SA), version 4.0", or that the work is released into the public domain, or if you have strong reason to believe it is, leave a note at Talk:Godwin Ubaka Okeke with a link to where we can find that note or your explanation of why you believe the content is free for reuse.
It may also be necessary for the text to be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
See Wikipedia:Declaration of consent for all enquiries for a template of the permissions letter the copyright holder is expected to send.
Otherwise, you may rewrite this article from scratch. If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at this temporary page. Leave a note at Talk:Godwin Ubaka Okeke saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved.
Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 11:50, 5 May 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you @Justlettersandnumbers for the guidelines, the copywrite permission was accepted when the article was initially created. I will use the temporary page either. Thank you Akwugo (talk) 12:00, 5 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Justlettersandnumbers, Talk:Godwin Ubaka Okeke Akwugo (talk) 12:01, 5 May 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, Akwugo, I'm looking at that now. The permission appears to be for this page, but the copied material is from a different page of that website and from two other (and older) websites. How did you arrange to obtain the permission, and – more to the point – why? Why didn't you just write your own content in your own words? Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 12:13, 5 May 2025 (UTC)

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
Unblock request

Request reason:
Dear administrator,
- I am shocked to receive an indefinite block for illegitimate editing. I have been contributing in good faith and would appreciate clarification about which edits caused concern. If I made mistakes, I am willing to learn the correct procedures and avoid repeating them. I respectfully request a review of the block. Please my intentions are never to abuse editing privileges
Decline reason:
I used the CheckUser tool and it shows logging out of one account and logging into this account the next minute. This is strong evidence of abuse of multiple accounts, and your denial does not outweigh the technical evidence. PhilKnight (talk) 14:31, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Unblock request

Akwugo (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log) • SI)
Request reason:
I respectfully request a further review of this block. To my best of knowledge during edit-a-thons and training activities, participants have sometimes created accounts or edited using my computer or the same internet connection available at the event. And I have never for once go back using their details. This may have resulted in technical associations between my account and participant accounts. Also, I have a contributor who is not fully active but edit with my PC sometimes. I have only used the account Akwugo for my own editing and have not intentionally used multiple accounts to engage in abusive editing. If the concern arises from accounts connected through training activities or shared devices, I would be grateful for the opportunity to clarify the circumstances or Users who have access to my PC. I value Wikimedia projects and have contributed in good faith. I respectfully request that the block be further reviewed and I am willing to provide any additional information needed. Thank you.
Accept reason:
On in-depth review, and after having discussed these findings with the blocking CheckUser, I find that the explanations provided are credible. The other accounts involved did not edit this project, but did edit other Wikimedia projects in a manner that fits the explanation. It is unfortunate that English Wikipedia has encountered many bad actors and also editors who have edited in ways that violate this project's accepted standards (sometimes in good faith) from your geographic region, and we almost never have information that would lead us to believe that some sort of training session or group editing is taking place, especially if the majority of the editing is taking place on other projects. Perhaps consider developing (or having someone else help you to develop) a userbox to put on your user page that states you regularly lead, assist with or participate in group editing activities, and maybe consider making a list that you keep on your userpage. You could also share this suggestion with other people who similarly support group editing activities. Having met many editors from your region at the last Wikimania, I have come to realize that group editing sessions are carried out in a very different way there than is commonplace in other regions. You are not the first person who has been caught in this situation, and I doubt you will be the last.Risker (talk) 05:47, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
- @Risker: - could I ask you for a second opinion here? PhilKnight (talk) 16:39, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
- Looking. This may take a bit. Meanwhile, Akwugo, could you provide a bit more detail about some of these training events? By any chance are people sharing an email address, or just a computer and internet connection? Risker (talk) 18:51, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for your message. The activity in question was a Wiktionary training and onboarding event for new student contributors and the aim was to introduce participants to Wikimedia projects and guide them through account creation and initial editing. I remember a User used my computer for account creation and editing on 9th June.
- Directly, no one used my email address, and I do not have access to or use the email addresses of participants who created accounts. Participants created and managed their own accounts and email addresses. I can only explain that the last few months I have allowed coordinators to use my PC during trainings (Wikidata) and we share no email address. Maybe I have made mistakes of allowing multiple users using my devices which I am ready to avoid. Akwugo (talk) 20:59, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking the time to review the matter deeply and for considering my explanation.I appreciate the careful assessment and the opportunity to clarify myself.I will appreciate it if you guide me or help develop a userbox to be placed on my user page to lessen blocks we do encounter.
- Thank you once again@PhilKnight,@Risker, @Asilvering for considering me. Akwugo (talk) 09:02, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
- You can just write something on your userpage if you like. "I share my PC with other editors at meet-ups" is really all you need to say, but if you want to write something more personal, that's fine too, of course. In solidarity, asilvering (talk) 23:04, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
