Speedy deletion nomination of Third Battle of Lyman

Thank you for your interest in the Russo-Ukrainian war. Due to past disruption, a special set of rules apply to anyone editing in this topic area. Since you currently do not meet the requirements to contribute to this topic area, the page you created has been nominated for speedy deletion under G5.

If you think this page does not fall under the general sanctions described, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Additionally you may wish to read about the topic restrictions regarding the the Russo-Ukrainian war. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 06:04, 14 February 2026 (UTC)

Introduction to community-authorised general sanctions

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the Russo-Ukrainian War. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

Additionally, the following restriction(s) apply to this topic area:

  • Only extended-confirmed editors may make edits related to the topic area, though editors who are not extended-confirmed may post constructive comments and make edit requests related to articles within the topic area on article talk pages. Should disruption occur on article talk pages, administrators may take enforcement actions against disruptive editors and/or apply page protection on article talk pages. However, non-extended-confirmed editors may not make edits to internal project discussions related to the topic area, even on article talk pages. Internal project discussions include, but are not limited to, Articles for deletion nominations, WikiProjects, requests for comment, requested moves, and noticeboard discussions.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

April 2026

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Ubiaja when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Editing Russo-Ukrainian War topics

Hello, I noticed that you've made some edits recently to 2026 Southern Ukraine counteroffensive. Per the explanatory note in the big blue box above, you are not permitted to edit articles in this topic area yet. You need to have 500 edits first (and an account age of 30 days, but you've hit that milestone). I recommend you find something a little less contentious to edit for awhile first, and once you have 500 edits, you're free to return to this area. Please be warned that you may be blocked without further warning if you persist in editing Russo-Ukrainian War topics, because we take this restriction fairly seriously due to ongoing disruption in the area.

Also, please don't cite other Wikipedias as you did here; they aren't reliable for our purposes. PMC (talk) 04:31, 14 May 2026 (UTC)

Disruptive editing on Orestopil

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Orestopil, you may be blocked from editing.

You have been repeatedly adding an unreliable source (bamwor.com) to Orestopil and reverting established edits. This source does not meet Wikipedia's reliable source guidelines. You are also adding bare URLs instead of using proper citation formatting — please see WP:CITE.

If you continue this behaviour, it may be reported at Administrator Noticeboard or result in a block. Please discuss on the article talk page before re-adding disputed content. Opposec (talk) 10:45, 16 May 2026 (UTC)

Notice that you are now subject to a sanction

The following sanction has been imposed on you:

Partial block from mainspace

You have been sanctioned Despite being given several clear warnings, you have continued to edit content about the Russo-Ukrainian War, and have not responded on this talk page whatsoever. I have removed your ability to edit mainspace until you reply indicating that you understand that you cannot edit these topics. PMC (talk) 11:13, 16 May 2026 (UTC)

This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator as authorised by the community's decision at Wikipedia:General sanctions/Russo-Ukrainian war, and the procedure described by the general sanctions guidelines. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions for that topic. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.

You may appeal this sanction at the arbitration enforcement noticeboard or the administrators' noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. PMC (talk) 11:13, 16 May 2026 (UTC)

Information icon Hi American Angel1! I noticed that you recently made an edit and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 01:38, 18 May 2026 (UTC)

Note that it's far more than one edit; you've been misusing the tag extensively since your very first edit. This obviously isn't as big a deal as the ECR issues, but mistagging substantive edits as minor makes it far more difficult for other editors. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 01:41, 18 May 2026 (UTC)
ok, thanks for telling me that, ill make sure to not put things as minor unless the reasons you mentioned above American Angel1 (talk) 17:52, 18 May 2026 (UTC)
Thanks! Sorry to pile on you when you were dealing with a much larger issue, but I noticed and did want to let you know so that you wouldn't have any other trouble. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 22:58, 18 May 2026 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Pokrovske rural hromada requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Lozova urban hromada moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Lozova urban hromada. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and it needs to be formatted according to the WP:Manual of Style. Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. —In solidarity with Wiki Workers United · ClaudineChionh (she/her · talk · email) 08:20, 24 May 2026 (UTC)
